Herzlia Headlines

JULY 2017

In a strategic effort to connect and engage with our 6600 Alumni around the world, I am excited to share that The Herzlia Foundation Trust will be visiting the USA in July 2017. Geoff Cohen, Director of Education, past Middle-school Principal & teacher, and Herzlia alumnus (1976) will be accompanying me.

We will be in the USA for 2 weeks and will be visiting San Diego, Los Angeles and New York.  Our key objective is share with our alumni the vision of The Herzlia Foundation Trust in working to secure Jewish education in Cape Town as well as to provide a space for reunions where alumni from all the various years can connect with one another share and reminisce and hear more about the Herzlia of today.

In the planning of this trip, it has been important that I engage with the alumni based in these cities as experience has shown that methodical careful planning ensures greater success. Geoff and I have been so warmly received and there have been plenty offers of assistance, coffee dates and support with reunions.

The Herzlia Alumni Association is here to support you our Alumni. We are committed to maintaining links, networks and communications between our 6600 Alumni in over 45 countries. We hope to connect you back to your school in relevant and positive ways. Please keep us informed of your whereabouts and continue to share your news, accomplishments and lifecycle simchas. You are a powerful network and an integral part of our global community, keeping the Herzlia legacy strong and relevant.

The Herzlia Alumni Association is also here to support you with the planning of class reunions both locally and globally. Please contact us for any assistance.

I look forward to reporting to you in the next HERZLIA HEADLINES regarding our USA trip as well as other reunions and get-togethers taking place in other parts of the world. Please remember to like and engage with our Herzlia Alumni Association and our Herzlia Foundation Trust Facebook pages, where you can be kept updated!

Happy, fun, safe school holidays to each one of you and your families wherever you are in the world.
