1959 reunion

Hi all,

 

I was visiting Israel last November, and spent time with Errol, Isaac and Mervyn, and we realized that next year, 2009, will be the

 

 

So the idea came about that we should have a get together of all us oldies, to reminisce, catch up, brag about our children and grandchildren, and generally have a good time. 

 

We are scattered all over the world and the question arose as to where to hold such a gathering.  In my mind there are two choices, in Israel or in Cape Town.  I believe it should be in Cape Town, but there may be good arguments to have it in Israel.

 

The other question, is what time of the year?  The two choices here appear to be July or early December.  Those in the Northern hemisphere have vacation time in July, but Cape Town is a little dreary then (does it matter?).  Alternatively, Cape Town has great weather in December, but its a busy season for a lot of us.

 

The BIG question, of course, is there any interest among all of you?

 

If I remember correctly, this was our Matric class.  For 50 years I thought that there were 18 in our Matric class, but apparently, there were 19!  I have added the few e-mail addresses I have, please forward this on to any others you may know and send me the e-mail addresses.  I'm sorry, I don't know the married names of some of the girls.
