New Uniform Rules
2019 GR 1 UNIFORM INFORMATION
Pop up shop times for the pre-schools.

All Gr 1 Uniform orders must be placed online and once processed will be packed up and distributed to all schools no later than Friday 30 November. Exchanges can be made on Monday 03 & Tuesday 04 December or when the shop reopens in January.
Please note the Uniform shop will be closed from Wednesday 05 December for stock taking and re-opens in January 2019.

Online orders can be placed through the online shop and can be collected from the shop before school starts. Deliveries will only commence from Thursday 17 January.
The Herzlia Uniform Shop aims to supply the best quality and value for money whilst ensuring continuity of supply of our school uniforms. We constantly review the garments produced by our range of suppliers and have to the best of our ability limited the number of items that parents need to purchase to be compliant with our uniform rules.
To this end, where possible, we have introduced generic items. E.g. pupils are permitted to wear plain navy or black costumes for PE, there is only one match top that is used over a few sporting disciplines. When moving from Primary to Middle and High School, pupils only have to purchase shirts instead of wearing golfers and of course a blazer.
Prices are interrogated annually and suppliers are invited to submit their costings. Manufacturers are welcome to contact the Uniform Shop if they wish to become a supplier.

In addition to our trading hours, the Uniform Shop is ONLINE. Orders are processed and packed during our normal shop hours and are available for collection from the shop or can be delivered to Highlands Primary, Weizmann or Constantia campuses. There are no deliveries to Middle and High School, they can be collected from the Uniform Shop. When ordering online, please indicate where we must send the order. Due to time constraints we cannot offer a same-day service.
The online shop is divided into two sections: Uniforms and Sports Kit, it will tell you exactly how many of the required item is currently in stock and the exact price for the size you have ordered. You select your item, add to cart and then check out exactly like any other online shop.
If you need to query stock levels and prices, this can also be done via the online shop.
Parcels will not be left at security for collection.

Guidelines for parents regarding uniform orders:
The uniform shop is the sole provider of uniforms for the entire system and we aim to be as obliging as possible. (Please note that if a trading day falls at the end of the month, the shop will be closed for stock-take, but you are welcome to order from our online shop).

You can purchase with cash, cheques or credit cards. Please, ensure that your child has your card number to hand. Note: for security reasons we do not keep credit card numbers on record – they are destroyed immediately. Under no circumstances will any goods be released to customers by the shop without payment. If you are purchasing by credit card or EFT please ensure you have the credit card details with you (card number, CVC and expiry date) or that you can present proof of payment of EFT. If payment arrangements have not been made, the goods cannot be supplied. You are welcome to email the order through with either proof of payment of credit card details to email@example.com
Distribution of parcels:
When the parcel arrives at the school, the procedure is as follows:
Weizmann – each child is called to the office and the parcel given to them personally.
Constantia – parcels are placed into class pigeonholes for the class teacher to give to each child – in cases of large orders the parents are requested to collect the order themselves.
Highlands Primary – parcels are placed into class pigeon holes and the class monitor will give them to each child.
NOTE: WE DO NOT TAKE RESPONS A BILTY FOR PARCELS THAT GO MISSING
If you are returning parcels to the uniform shop through the internal messenger service please mark it very clearly and ensure that all exchange instructions are included, as well as parent contact details and pupil’s name. This is irrespective of verbal telephone instructions.
We cannot leave parcels for collection at the security office in Goldschmidt Avenue. Please do not call security regarding any issues pertaining to the uniform shop or lost property.
In the interests of best practice:
We do not release goods until they have been paid for. You are welcome to make a direct deposit, fax the deposit slip through to us and then once payment has been received, we will process the order. Please do not send cash through the internal mail system.
Kippot, swimming caps and school caps are all stocked by the Primary School secretaries so that parents do not have to wait for one small item.
