The Herzlia Foundation Trust honouring our exceptional donors!

The Herzlia Foundation Trust hosted its annual Donor Appreciation event on Wednesday 14 August 2019. The evening was an opportunity to for us to acknowledge, recognize and extend our appreciation to our donors and the integral role they play in securing Jewish education and affording all Jewish children the opportunity of receiving a world-class education here at Herzlia!

The evening started with our guests joining us in the Media Centre to hear the personal story of Herzlia Alumni, David Peerutin (MY1978) who shared his story as a recipient of a bursary during his schooling at Herzlia.  Through David, our donors were given the opportunity to put a face to their donations and understand first-hand the value and impact their generosity and commitment has in providing a Jewish Education to those in need.

Guests were then treated to front-row seats at Herzlia’s annual musical spectacular “Feel the Beat”.  This truly world-class event, included 250 children from all nine Herzlia schools who performed various instrumental and vocal ensembles.  The feedback from our Donors some of whom were seeing this musical for the first time re-affirmed that music has certainly earned its place as a pillar of excellence at Herzlia.
