Herzlia believes in life-long learning and the continuous development of all staff. The faculty and support staff are therefore required to attend staff development days at the start of each term.

The theme of the first staff development day of the year was: “Day of Inspiration”. For this event we invited alumni who have achieved great things professionally or had an impact on the community to come back to campus and inspire our staff.

The day was comprised of a TED Talk-style event where groups of staff could listen to the stories/career paths of our inspiring alumni.

Not only were the staff inspired and given food for thought to take back to their classrooms, the day reiterated how important their teaching is for creating leaders who make an impact on our world.
