Herzlia High School’s annual Sports Awards evening is a highlight of the annual calendar for pupils, parents and the sports department. Herzlia offers various traditional sports including soccer, netball and water polo, but also sports like surfing, skateboarding, mountain biking, trail-running and even Esports which keeps us at the forefront of education.
Shane Brorson, Herzlia High School Principal says “Herzlia encourages maximum participation of all pupils being involved in sport, but also recognises those that have excelled, greatly improved and displayed great sportsmanship. Encouragement of school sport at Herzlia is vital as it develops the child holistically and it is incredibly important for pupils to get exercise for mental and physical stimulation and is an important part of their educational learning process. It is also true what they say that many life lessons and friendships are made on the ‘sportsfield’.” Kol Hakavod!
